Hooting and Tooting Lodges are two self catering woodland lodges in the grounds of The Old Chapel House in Mingarry, Moidart at the gateway to the Ardnamurchan. Both lodges combine rustic charm with home comforts. The cabins are the perfect Highland retreat away from the bustle of everyday life.

The Lodges are pet free and non-smoking with maximum occupancies of four.

Hooting lodge Kitchen

Each kitchen has fully integrated appliances, including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, AEG electric single oven, and ceramic hob. There is also a free-standing Bosch tumble dryer and microwave oven. In addition, a toaster and standard kitchen utensils are provided.

The stylish dining area, with seating for four, is adjacent to the kitchen. Bone china tableware, crystal glasses, crisp white napkins are provided for that special dining experience.

The sitting room has two comfortable leather sofas, a 26 inch screen LCD TV (with freesat), DVD player, video recorder, CD stereo with iPod docking station and WiFi internet access. There is a small library covering local history, walking and wildlife, together with a collection of novels, videos and DVDs.

Hooting double bedroom

There are two upstairs bedrooms, one double and one twin. The double bedroom has views over Ben Resipole at the front, and the twin room has views of the woodlands to the rear.

Each Lodge has a large veranda with a patio table and four chairs to enjoy your breakfast, lunch or evening drinks al fresco. A good place to see the local pine martens and red squirrels.

Each Lodge has an upstairs bathroom, ideal for a relaxing soak at the end of a long day, and a separate ground-floor shower room suitable for a quick shower at any time of the day.

The entrance hall provides space for outdoor clothes and equipment.

Fully controllable electric central heating ensures a comfortable stay whatever the season.
