We all very much enjoyed our stay in Hooting Lodge. There is so much wildlife to see around the lodge a much to explore further a field. The lodge is equipped to a very high standard and full of information about the area. Jayne and Andrew are wonderful hosts.

Perfect location. Perfect Lodge and perfect hosts. A wonderful stay full of comfort, luxury and fantastic wildlife. We cant think of anything that would improve our experience. Already booked for next year. Jayne and Andrew are passionate and enthusiastic about their environment and all that it holds. The amount of information they provide is quite overwhelming.
Always on hand if you need anything but otherwise completely unobtrusive - you cannot ask for anything better.

This is our second visit and we have already booked for next year. Everything is spotless and our every need was catered for.

We are utterly spoiled to stay anywhere else now- this has to be the best equipped place we have ever stayed. The kitchen has more than I have at home, and everything has been thought about- and then some. We were very warmly welcomed and shown around our home for the week. The fact file has been so well thought out, as well as the day out folder- walks laminated, what a wonderful touch. The books reflect many of my own but there was so much on there to keep even the most avid reader happy.
Everywhere and everything was immaculately clean, and was also easy to keep clean over the week. We had an issue with the dishwasher but that was fixed with minimal fuss and bother. The extra touches are wonderful- the wildlife cameras, the option of the trail cam to catch nighttime adventures, binoculars, guides and so on- all just add to the experience. the beds were very comfy and we slept very well.
We cannot recommend highly enough- we will be back.

This is the most wonderful self catering lodge you could find. It has everything. Jayne and Andrew have anticipated your every need and more! The wildlife is stunning, the location marvellous and we can’t wait to return. Thank you.

We spent a perfect week here. So much had been done by the owners to ensure a comfortable, interesting stay. The information packs were carefully put together and there is a plentiful collection of maps and guides. We were warm and comfortable and the welcome pack of essentials and goodies was the best ever!

A beautiful well equipped lodge in a stunning location surrounded by amazing wildlife and scenery. Jayne and Andrew are so welcoming and helpful with lots of extra touches,the welcome tray,pumping flat tyres, wildlife equipment to borrow to name a few!
Travelling alone with two children can be a challenge but coming back to cosy Tooting Lodge and listening to nature literally surrounding you made it all so much easier.
Would recommend Mingarry Lodges to anyone looking for a comfy cosy well equipped base in a stunning peaceful location.

This was a great holiday, we loved every minute and we will certainly be going back. The lodges are warm, clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. Jayne and Andrew have gone above and beyond the usual standard for holiday accommodation. Definitely 5*.

This really is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a 5 star luxury retreat. The lodges are spotless and have everything you need and more. The owners have thought of everything and are only too happy to help if you need anything else. The information booklets on places to visit/walks are accurate and very helpful. We have stayed here several times and will return.

Our 3rd visit and never fails to impress us! Everything you could possibly want is at hand, perfect hosts who have put so much time and effort into every little detail. From the information files, the luxury toiletries, the wonderful welcome pack, so many to list just book and you'll understand why so many visitors are return year after year! The local area so scenic, there is so many beautiful places to visit and walk. Always feel sad to leave but know we will return again!

Perfection is the best word I can use to sum Mingarry Lodges The accommodation was immaculately clean with thought given to everything you may need. The kitchen equipment,utensils where perfect for my husband as he really enjoys cooking and he didn’t want for anything.

The local wildlife was truly amazing and at times we felt we were living in a fairy tale world. We have already booked for next year so that is the best review we can give.

Owners Jayne & Andrew are a great couple, very knowledge and happy to help with any information/advice you may need. Can’t wait to get back there.

It was wonderful to return for another holiday. It really is a home-from-home (except I suspect that the kitchen is better equipped than most people's own kitchens - certainly the case with mine!) - Jayne and Andrew really have thought of everything one would need and have provided it. Lots of care and thought have gone into creating the perfect holiday accommodation in an exceptionally beautiful part of Scotland.

As always, it is great to view the local wildlife nearby. We enjoyed revisiting favourite parts of Ardnamurchan and discovering a few new ones. Weather could have been better but there was plenty of sunshine in between the showers. On the one day with non-stop rain, we were perfectly happy to stay in and relax with books etc.

We would love to come back again one day.

Tooting Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. The lodge was extremely comfortable and well equipped and the wildlife around it was amazing. There are plenty of places around to explore and enjoy. Jayne and Andrew could not have been more helpful during our stay and made us feel very welcome. We plan to return.

Lovely area but we would have been perfectly happy not setting foot outside the door. Wildlife to be viewed from the windows any time of day and night.

Just back from a wonderful holiday exploring Ardnamurchan and staying at Hooting Lodge in Mingarry. We were warmly welcomed by the owners Jayne and Andrew, and provided with comprehensive, and hugely helpful, information about the local area. The lodge itself is extremely well equipped, maintaintained to a very high standard and comfortable. Lots of wildlife to watch out for but luckily for us no midges.

Situated in a beautiful location, you couldn't ask for anything else, the lodge was really well equipped for anything (cooking, hiking, wildlife spotting, outdoor activities). Jayne and Andrew were the perfect hosts, and introduced us to the best of the local area for walks and wildlife, and made us very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

This was actually our fifth holiday at Mingarry Lodges; but it definitely won't be our last! The spacious two-bedroom lodge is always spotlessly clean, luxuriously furnished and equipped with absolutely everything one could possibly need. The grounds are home to an abundance of fascinating wildlife. We particularly enjoyed observing the various visitors to the "Rodentorium" in the evenings.
Jayne and Andrew are welcoming and friendly - and are keen to share their extensive knowledge of the local area and offer invaluable advice on places to visit.
The lodge is ideally situated for exploring. There are numerous stunning beaches, walks and cycle paths just a short drive away, and the beautiful islands of Mull, Rum and Eigg are easily accessible by ferry.
I would not hesitate to recommend Tooting Lodge to anybody wishing to visit the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.
