Mingarry Lodges is a wonderful place to stay. Hooting Lodge itself was very comfortable, superbly equipped and super clean. We loved having the wildlife cameras around the lodge and spent a lot of time watching them. Jayne is the perfect host - friendly and helpful but very respectful of guests' privacy. There are numerous bird feeders within feet of the lodge windows and we watched woodpeckers, siskins, thrushes, goldfinches, chaffinches, greenfinches and a redpoll, amongst others. Jayne keeps the feeders continually topped up. It was great to have a coffee machine and there was also a bbq provided (although you would have to choose a day when the midges were not out!) The area of grass at the front was a nice place to sit when the sun was out. We can guarantee the meticulous cleaning of these lodges - having watched Jayne spend all day cleaning the other one the day before we left! The goodies on arrival were much appreciated. We very much hope to return.

Hooting Lodge was a superbly comfortable base for watching local wildlife and exploring Ardnamurchan. Everything was of a high standard, well thought out, and the information and books available were first class.

Perfect. Returned for our annual visit. Most comfortable, cleanest, best located lodge ever. Jayne and Andrew have thought of everything you could want. Fantastic attention to detail. Lovely area all perfect.

Should you be looking for a holiday in a truly natural spot, with all the comforts, this holiday will give you so many natural and pleasant surprises and without going far. However ,the beauty of the Moidart area will leave you with wonderful memories.

I cannot recommend Mingarry Lodges enough, the attention to detail is outstanding and cannot wait to go back. I know you cannot control wildlife but it is wildlife heaven not just around the lodges but the whole area.

This was my first time in Scotland and we found it a totally amazing experience. Everything was perfect at the lodge and could not fault anything. Very friendly and could not be more helpful. Will definitely go again if I can find a space in the bookings .

This was our second stay at Mingarry and was as enjoyable as our first, and nice to see it at a different time of year. The lodges are excellent, everything you could possibly need is provided and good quality. Lots of local information is also provided. Jayne & Andrew are very welcoming but not intrusive. Of course the wildlife is the main attraction and did not disappoint.

Quite simply the best holiday we've ever had. Everything in the lodge was faultless - spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, well equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. We were made to feel so welcome and Jayne had a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife and surrounding area. The wildlife was amazing and we loved watching the cameras in the evening to see who was visiting the garden. The area itself is stunningly beautiful. The only problem we had was having to leave at the end of the week. Cannot wait to return!!!

Jayne and Andrew have created a little heaven where you can chill out and escape the crazy world. The lodges are fitted out to a high standard with everything you could possibly want, the attention to detail the best I've ever experienced.
So much thought has gone into ensuring your stay is enjoyable. the beds are super comfy, kitchen has everything, gorgeous fluffy towels and luxury toiletries.
Files with details of walks, drives, maps, wildlife, books, sight seeing excursions all provided in such thorough detail!
Immaculate lodges in beautiful surroundings with the most helpful and friendly owners.
Even during these more challenging times of covid I always felt very safe as know their standards so very high on cleaning.
I never want to leave, always want a extra week!!

We as a family have stayed at Mingarry Lodges several times over the years ,, as usual we received a very warm welcome from the owners who go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable , we can count on the lodges being exceptionally clean,- as we are in a pandemic that was extremely important to us, everything was made covid safe to the finest detail ,,, the lodges are VERY well equipped with all your conceivable needs. The location is excellent for sightseeing & wildlife…. 100% recommended ….

Once again we have had an absolutely fantastic 3 weeks holiday at Mingarry, made that extra bit special as it was over Christmas.
The cabin, was as always immaculate with everything we needed being provided. The real Christmas tree and all the other decorations just made it feel so magical.

With nature being all around there was something interesting to watch around the lodge everyday.

Jayne & Andrew are such lovely people with great enthusiasm & knowledge it’s always a great pleasure to catch up with them. We will be back again which will be approx 8th visit.

Another wonderful week in Hooting Lodge! As always the lodge was in excellent condition and scrupulously clean with lots of information on places of interest, local walks and fascinating wildlife. Jayne and Andrew are excellent hosts, ready with an enthusiastic welcome, always available to provide advice and guidance and quick to resolve any concerns.

As always a totally relaxing holiday. Loved watching all the wildlife, especially the cheeky robins on porch. Jayne and Andrew go all out to ensure you have everything you need. Love the extra attention to detail they provide.

We have returned to this place many times. Just can't get enough of the perfect situation and the wildlife experiences that have no equal. Our hosts have always strived to give us a perfect holiday - and succeeded.

We stayed for a week in hooting lodge, Jayne had provided absolutely everything you could need, very comfortable, lovely views from the windows. A wonderful place if you love wildlife, no need for tv just watch the many cameras for the antics of the birds and wildlife! Highly recommended, thank you Jayne and Andrew, we hope to come again.

This place is a haven for those seeking tranquility and an immersion in the natural world. The facilities for self catering are second to none and attention to detail is superb. Every comfort is there including a warm welcome by the hosts. It is an area full of surprises , lovely walks, scenic drives and great wild life. Returning to the lodge after a day out gave us all nothing but pleasure because we knew that a safe, warm, clean ,beautiful , wooden space awaited us. Thank you.
