As always a totally relaxing holiday. Loved watching all the wildlife, especially the cheeky robins on porch. Jayne and Andrew go all out to ensure you have everything you need. Love the extra attention to detail they provide.
It really is a luxury 5* accommodation.
We have returned to this place many times. Just can't get enough of the perfect situation and the wildlife experiences that have no equal. Our hosts have always strived to give us a perfect holiday - and succeeded.
We stayed for a week in hooting lodge, Jayne had provided absolutely everything you could need, very comfortable, lovely views from the windows. A wonderful place if you love wildlife, no need for tv just watch the many cameras for the antics of the birds and wildlife! Highly recommended, thank you Jayne and Andrew, we hope to come again.
This place is a haven for those seeking tranquility and an immersion in the natural world. The facilities for self catering are second to none and attention to detail is superb. Every comfort is there including a warm welcome by the hosts. It is an area full of surprises , lovely walks, scenic drives and great wild life. Returning to the lodge after a day out gave us all nothing but pleasure because we knew that a safe, warm, clean ,beautiful , wooden space awaited us. Thank you.
Warm and comfortable, in perfect location close to all the special places in the area. The owners go beyond 5 star and take great care to ensure everything is perfect. Exceptionally well equipped, with quality appliances, natural history library and extensive local information.
Two wooden apex style lodges tucked away in the trees, just a few minutes from Loch Sheil. Top quality fittings throughout, with a shower room on the ground floor, and a bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen is very well equipped and some treats await guests on arrival.
The crowning glory is the provision of facilities to view the extensive wildlife visiting the feeders in the grounds, via 9 cameras. Our hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly and have created a very extensive visitors guide. We felt our stay was very good value, and don't hesitate to recommend, particularly for wildlife enthusiasts.
This was our fourth stay at Mingarry Lodge and as always we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The lodge was clean and very cozy and Jayne and Andrew always make as feel very welcome. There are lots of wildlife to see around the lodge and further afield. The scenery around the area is stunning.
We had a fantastic week staying in Hooting Lodge.
The friendly owners (Andrew and Jayne) provide a wonderfully relaxing place to stay.
The Lodge contains everything you could possibly need and the little extra treats were much appreciated. There is an abundance of wildlife surrounding the lodge including a variety of birds and red squirrels which visit the many feeders.
The Ardnamurchan Peninsula was a delight. The scenery and wildlife was fantastic. We enjoyed the Blain Burn and Kentra Bay walks in particular ( walking guides and local information are provided in the Lodge). Sanna Bay is well worth a visit too.
We have already booked our 3rd visit to Mingarry Lodges next September and can't wait to return.
It is impossible to recommend this accommodation enough.
We have never been to the Ardnamurchan peninsula before and have been trying to book Mingarry Lodges for a number of years but it has always been booked up. We now know why! Jayne and Andrew were perfect hosts, made us very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at Tooting Lodge and it had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. We love wildlife and the bird feeders were always well stocked so we saw many different birds feeding from them right outside our window, which was lovely after a day 'out and about' in the area. Thank you for such a relaxing week. We will definitely be back !
Another perfect stay at Mingarry with perfect hosts Jayne and Andrew. Such a beautiful place to relax amongst the wildlife. No worries about COVID as Jayne and Andrew could not do anything more to make your stay safe. The lodge is immaculate and anything you need Jayne and Andrew will do their best you get it. Will be back ………
Another fantastic holiday in Tooting Lodge. This time we took our daughter, boyfriend and their 7 month old baby. The Lodge filled all our expectations as we knew it would. A brand new baby chair was also provided and we had everything we needed. The Lodge is very well equipped and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect and the wildlife excellent. We would highly recommend Mingarry Lodges, nothing is too much trouble and Jayne and her husband ensure everything is in place ready for your arrival. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and we look forward to returning in the future.

We spent a fabulous week at Mingarry Lodges at the end of July. The lodges are immaculate and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Jayne and Andrew are very knowledgeable about wildlife and the local area and are generous hosts. We have already booked a return visit. Thank you.
As always it was a joy to revisit Mingarry Lodges. Jayne and Andrew go all out to ensure perfection. Their attention to detail and witnessing all their hard work during the changeover to ensure a safe visit for holidaymakers is much appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit in October.
We have been several times and have it booked for more and have the intention of further visits. One of the very best holidays for wildlife lovers.
This was our third visit to Mingarry. A wonderful place to unwind and be with nature, which is so important to us. ‘Tooting’ Lodge was amazing with all home comforts, Jayne & Andrew ensure that cleanliness is top of the list, and attention to detail too . We have already booked another stay next year !
After our holiday was delayed a year because of the pandemic, it was so pleasing to finally arrive in Mingarry. We were warmly welcomed by Jayne, one of the owners, and then left alone to settle in, which has to be one of the most well equipped self-catering places that we have ever stayed in. It was also spotlessly clean and extra care had been taken because of the pandemic, hence check-in moved to 18.00 when we stayed. The two bedroomed lodge sleeps 4 easily and is very well proportioned, with everything that you could possibly need. A bonus is seeing the wildlife right on the doorstep - pine marten, red squirrels, deer and birds. The lodge is in a very peaceful location and particularly ideal if you like walking. The welcome pack is extremely informative, with possibly every walk in the area mentioned! Thank you Jayne and Andrew.
Stayed in Tooting Lodge for 2 weeks from 18th June.
The Lodge was fantastic with every need catered for.Our hosts Jayne and Andrew
could not have been more helpful and friendly.Location perfect, peaceful and quiet
with only the noise of the birds.5Star paradise.Back next year.
What an amazing place, such a wildlife haven. Jayne was very welcoming and a great help in identifying the various wild orchids in her garden. Camera feeds to the TV were an added bonus to the viewing of the wildlife. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped and is in an ideal location for exploring the area. Would highly recommend it.
